Background
The home of cricket in WA is the WACA Ground. Sitting on Noongar Country, the iconic Ground is currently being transformed into a sustainable community and sporting hub with cricket at its heart. From the early design stages to completion, inclusion is woven into every part of the Ground improvements and the rich heritage and proud sporting history will be celebrated throughout.
WA Cricket are active and engaged leaders in Australian sport and have already secured $95 million for the $115 million Project. Through the WA Cricket Foundation, the remainder will be raised through private funds to guarantee that cricket in WA inspires a healthier and more inclusive community.
Campaign Overview
Pledge A Picket is a WA Cricket Foundation campaign offering a once in a generation opportunity to secure a piece of history at the WACA Ground and be part of its legacy. Past Players, Members, fans, philanthropists and the wider community will have the chance to have their name or their family’s name etched onto a picket that surrounds the historic cricket Ground with their donation contributing to the future of cricket in WA.
